Queries and Complaints

Scheme related queries

If you have a query on your membership or claim you can call us on 0860 11 66 33.

Send an email to service@mcmas.co.za and remember to include your membership number in the subject line of the email.

Complaints process

We hope you never need this information, because we want to give you the kind of service that meets your needs and expectations. However, if we've failed to do so, here are some steps to follow:

Step 1

Contact our Call Centre with your enquiry or complaint. (You will get a reference number).

Step 2

If your query wasn't resolved during Step 1, please get in touch with us again, give us the details of your query and reference number, and ask for your query to be escalated within the service team. Alternatively, ask your HR department to pass your query on to your Corporate Health Manager.

Step 3

If the issue cannot be resolved via the process in Step 2, you can ask for your complaint to be submitted to the Principal Officer, Ms Hazel Hopkins

Step 4

If you are still not satisfied, you can lodge your complaint with the Scheme's Disputes Committee.

Step 5

If, after all efforts to resolve an issue with the Scheme have failed, you can submit your complaint to the Council for Medical Schemes (CMS).
